The inauguration ceremony of the third board of directors and supervisors of the Hunan Linxiang Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong Province and the 2025 Investment Promotion Conference of Linxiang City in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area with the theme of "Linxing Gathering Strength for the Future of Hunan and Guangdong" were grandly held here. The event was attended by a large number of distinguished guests. Members and representatives of Party members from Guangzhou, Dongguan, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Foshan, Zhuhai, Huizhou and other places, as well as 50 friendly chambers of commerce, gathered together to witness this glorious moment.
Wu Weibao, former deputy director of the Office of the Military-Civilian Integration Development Committee of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, the Development and Reform Commission of Guangdong Province, and the Office of the National Defense Mobilization Committee of Guangdong Province, Li Zuofeng, chairperson and secretary of the Party Group of the Political Consultative Conference of Yueyang City, Li Zhihua, former first-level researcher of the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, Liu Qi, secretary of the CPC Linxiang Municipal Committee and Mayor of Linxiang City, and other current and retired leaders from both Hunan and Guangdong attended and delivered speeches. Amid the solemn national anthem, all 600 attendees stood up, marking the official opening of the conference. Chen Jinqiu, the second-term president of the Hunan Linxiang Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong Province, and Zhang Pingliang, the second-term supervisor, respectively delivered work reports on the board of directors and the board of supervisors, comprehensively reviewing and summarizing the past achievements and experiences. Subsequently, the new and old presidents held a flag handover ceremony. Under the gaze of the entire audience, Chairman Liao Yongping solemnly received the flag from the second-term president Chen Jinqiu and officially became the third-term president of the Hunan Linxiang Chamber of Commerce in Guangdong Province, marking the beginning of a new chapter in the development of the chamber.
President Liao Yongping, in his inaugural speech, clearly defined the development direction of the chamber of commerce: adhering to the principle of "stabilizing the market, seeking business opportunities, and seeking development", deepening cooperation with institutions such as Linxiang Rural Commercial Bank, promoting the establishment of a science and technology innovation park for returning home, and improving the four major service platforms of public welfare, rights protection, resource sharing, and investment promotion. At the same time, industry resources will be integrated to establish a special committee, the coordination mechanism among branches will be strengthened, a transparent financial system will be set up, and resources from both regions will be linked through a business platform. The "business-supported association" model will be explored to assist member enterprises in achieving cross-regional development.
